So it is official, I will be hanging out at the Ticket Summit 2010 in NYC from Wednesday through Friday. I will try to report back as much as I can and hopefully meet a lot of other ticket providers. Vendors, You Now Have “Advance Price”!

We have updated the vendor portal and added two things for version 1.3. First, we have made entering shows quicker by pre-populating address, phone number and the name based on your Account settings. This should speed up show management quite a bit!

Next, we added the ability for you to enter an advance price if needed. This is used to offer pre-day-of-show pricing without having to remember to change it the day of. Simply fill out the event as usual but put the regular ticket price in the “Ticket Price” box. If you want to have an advance price then put a value in the “Advance Price” box as well. This price will be shown until the day of the show. Leave “Advance Price” blank if you don’t need it. The only required field is “Ticket Price”.

Once you buy a ticket it is placed in the My Tickets tab. This is what you use when you get to the venue. Take this to will call or the box office and they will confirm it from their list of ticket holders.
